The Silver Lake Association has a number of programs that we sponsor to help preserve the quality of the Silver Lake watershed.
One issue plaguing freshwater lakes in New Hampshire is the invasion of non-native, exotic plant species such as variable milfoil. These exotic plants can quickly multiply and have various negative impacts, including reduced recreational value and a reduction in value of waterfront property.
